i2E Management Company, Inc. (iMCI) is the fund management arm of i2E, Inc. and currently manages $88 million across five venture funds.  iMCI makes investment decisions and provides investment services as General Partner and Managing Member to a growing number of privately managed venture capital funds.  Since 2007, iMCI and i2E, Inc. have invested more than $50 million of equity funding into 61 companies.

Plains Venture Partners

Plains Venture Partners is a growth-equity venture fund focused on investing in entrepreneurs and technologies with a strong potential for disruption, particularly in the central US.  iMCI evaluates companies that have established proof of concept, including strong market validation and a demonstrated ability to execute. iMCI is committed to deploying capital across the central region of the U.S. in management teams that are capable, efficient and poised for growth.

SeedStep Angels

Established in 2009 and managed by iMCI, SeedStep Angels (SSA) is an exclusive group of accredited angel investors comprised of successful entrepreneurs, investors, executives, and business owners that invest their time, talent, and money in supporting early stage companies in Oklahoma. The group consists of 55 members throughout the state of Oklahoma who have invested just over $18.3 Million in 55 companies. 

Accelerate Oklahoma Fund

The Accelerate Oklahoma Fund provides critical co-investment capital for Oklahoma-based entrepreneurs at early-to-growth stages of their companies’ lifecycles.  Investment amounts range from $250,000 to $1,000,000 plus and terms are typically convertible debt or preferred equity.  The Accelerate Oklahoma Fund is designed to invest in innovative startup companies that promise sustained revenue and increased employment; to accelerate emerging growth businesses that show potential for bringing new products to market; and, to fund later stage companies that need capital to position them for scaling and expansion.

Oklahoma Seed Capital Fund (OSCF)

The Oklahoma Seed Capital Fund is a state-funded investment fund that provides concept, seed and start-up equity investments to Oklahoma-based, innovative businesses.  The Fund looks for high-growth opportunities that show promise of rapid growth in terms of revenue and increased employment.  Investment terms are typically convertible debt or preferred equity and investment amounts range from $250,000 to $1,000,000 plus. The Fund leads or participates in investment rounds and requires participating co-investors.  Investments from the OSCF are focused on industry sectors with technologies and proprietary products, processes, and/or know-how that provide high growth opportunities in large, addressable markets.

To be eligible for the Seed Fund, an entrepreneur must be a small business located in Oklahoma. The use of funds includes funding for start-up, proof of concept and early scaling activities.

The Oklahoma Seed Capital Fund is a program of the Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science and Technology (OCAST).  i2E, Inc., the parent of i2E Management Company (iMCI), receives state support from OCAST as an integral part of Oklahoma’s Innovation Model.

Oklahoma Angel Funds

The Oklahoma Angel Funds are small, early stage to growth stage capital investment funds targeting start-up companies in the life sciences and tech sectors.  iMCI invests in companies with high-growth potential that require capital to assist with proof of concept, go to market, scaling or expansion into new products and/or new markets. The funds are designed to capitalize on the growth in entrepreneurial activity and venture financing, primarily in the state of Oklahoma, and in selective states within the region.  Currently, both Angel Funds I & II are closed to new investments.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
