I received an email from i2E Venture Advisor Mark Lauinger this morning that had only one sentence and a link.
The one-line email said: “OK is the place to be for young entrepreneurs.”
When I clicked the link, it became apparent what Mark was talking about. Tulsa ranks No. 1 among all the nation’s cities in its climate young entrepreneurs, according to Forbes magazine. And Oklahoma City is No. 5.
If you are scoring at home, that’s two Oklahoma cities among the nation’s top 10 for fostering young entrepreneurs. Tulsa beat out the likes of Tampa, Fla., Atlanta, Raliegh, N.C., and Seattle, among others, for the top spot.

Congratulations, Oklahoma!
