About the Competition
Guided by experienced i2E mentors, high school student teams go through the full entrepreneurial process from idea to pitch, building business plans, financial projections, prototypes, and marketing strategies, then presenting their work to a panel of business leaders and educators.
As MidAmerica Industrial Park continues to grow, the region needs a workforce ready to meet the demands of an innovation-driven economy. The MidAmerica Cup competition introduces students in MidAmerica’s STEM education programs to the problem-solving and entrepreneurial thinking that employers in the region are actively seeking.
“This competition allows students to gain hands-on experience and provides a pathway to explore careers in business and innovation. The success of this program is a testament to the strength of our partnerships and the dedication of our local schools.”
– Scott Fry, MidAmerica’s Director of Workforce Development
