Pitches, Pizza & Pints is a monthly event hosted by The Verge OKC, designed to provide entrepreneurs with a low-stakes environment to pitch their business ideas, receive feedback, and connect with fellow innovators. Held every Fourth Wednesday, the event brings together founders, intrapreneurs, and business leaders for an evening of networking, idea-sharing, and collaboration—all over free pizza and drinks!
October’s featured Founder Talk is Ashley Coffey, an emerging technologies subject matter expert with over a decade of experience spanning the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. Recognized on the Journal Record’s 2022 Powerlist of Innovative Women in Oklahoma, Ashley helps companies achieve greater efficiency and profitability by leveraging technology in meaningful ways.
Ashley has shared her expertise from the TEDx stage to Harvard and SXSW-EDU, serves on the boards of the American Marketing Association (Oklahoma Chapter) and SXSW Pitch, and mentors young women pursuing careers in technology. Her career journey includes roles at Apple, the University of Oklahoma, a Tulsa XR startup, and a nonprofit dedicated to bridging the gender gap in STEM. Beyond her professional achievements, she is also a strong mental health advocate who openly shares her story to empower others.
