OKLAHOMA CREATIVITY FORUM “OUT-OF-THE-BOX” THEME
TO INSPIRE ENTREPRENEURS, EDUCATORS AND INNOVATORS
Creative Oklahoma announces “Out-of-the-Box” as the theme for the inaugural Oklahoma Creativity Forum. The one-day Forum will be held on Thursday, Nov. 1, at the Embassy Suites Conference Center in Norman from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Whole Foods Market Co-Founder and Co-CEO John Mackey will be the keynote speaker, and he will be making his first formal presentation in Oklahoma at Oklahoma Creativity Forum. Sponsored by Chesapeake Energy, Mackey will present ideas on how a model of creativity and capitalism can give back to communities. Mackey helped grow Whole Foods Market to a $10 billion Fortune 300 company and a top U.S. supermarket, which is opening its first location in Oklahoma.
Joining Mackey as speakers are Matt Beckham, CEO of the nation’s leading online auction site Quibids; Gregg Fraley, Chief Solver of at Kiln Ideas; David E. Albert, MD, owner of AliveCor and LifeTone Technology; Scientist/Artist/Author Bulent Atalay; Provost, Senior Vice President and Regents Professor of Psychology and Education at Oklahoma State University Robert Sternberg; Founder of MomentumXDesign Tamara Christensen; CEO of Capacity Sports Chase Curtiss; and Founder of Kevin Carroll Katalyst Kevin Carroll.
The University of Oklahoma Dean of Fine Arts, Rich Taylor, will serve as the Oklahoma Creativity Forum Honorary Chair, and the master of ceremonies will be two-time Olympic Gold gymnast Bart Conner, of Norman.
