Idabel: Thriving in Small Business: Fresh Strategies, Big Shifts, and Lasting Success

December 4

1-3 pm

We are excited to partner with the Carolyn Watson Rural Oklahoma Community Foundation to bring together these resources for small businesses. Make plans to join us for this FREE event focused on resources for job seekers and employers. Penny Horton, owner of Who's Your HR?, and a number of local resource partners will share invaluable information to help your business grow. Topics include customer service, employer resources, HR, and multigenerational workforce.

Who’s Your HR? (WYHR) is a boutique management consulting firm with offices in Tulsa, OK and Wichita, KS; serving clients from coast to coast and was founded in 2018 by Penny Horton after a 19-year career in corporate HR. WYHR specializes in helping businesses navigate the legal complexities of being an employer as well as optimizing the performance of their workplace.

Additionally, representatives from The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, Work Ready OK, and Dynamic Workforce Solutions will join us to share about their programs available to employees and employers.

The REI Oklahoma team will also be there to share info on free trainings, workshops, business counseling, funding options and more to help you grow your business.

Funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration. WBC services are provided on a nondiscriminatory basis. Reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities and language assistance services for clients with limited English proficiency will be provided if requested at least two weeks in advance. Contact Lori Smith, WBC Assistant at 800-658-2823.
