LAS VEGAS, NEV. – A team of CCEW alumni won in the undergraduate divisions of the 2013 Donald W. Reynolds Tri-State collegiate business plan competition in Las Vegas Tuesday night.
The team, FieldFocus, is the recipient of a $30,000 cash prize, a team trophy and individual personalized plaques.
FieldFocus is a software development firm with a platform technology for the oil and gas industry. The software, built for small-size drilling companies, tracks personnel and inventory, allowing them to better manage costs and potentially increase revenue by 10 to 30 percent.
Winners were named at an Awards Dinner Tuesday night after a day-long competition in which teams presented their business plans to panels of judges.
