As Controller for i2E and its subsidiaries, John Gorman oversees financial management and reporting, budgeting, taxation, internal controls, transaction processing, and cash management. He is instrumental in identifying and implementing financial best practices, solving business challenges, and optimizing relationships with auditors, funding sources, and external service providers. John also manages accounting staff and works closely with the i2E Board of Directors’ Finance and Audit Committee to ensure efficient and transparent reporting.
John brings over 8 years of experience in public accounting, spanning tax accounting, financial accounting, and forensic accounting. His diverse expertise ranges from filing tax returns to investigating employee embezzlement cases, providing a robust foundation for solving complex financial challenges.
John holds a B.B.A. in Accounting, an M.S. in Accounting, and a Graduate Certificate in Fraud and Forensic Accounting, all from Oklahoma City University. He is a Certified Public Accountant, recognized by the Oklahoma Accountancy Board.
John lives in Moore with his wife, Jorie, and their two dogs, Brandy and Charlie, and two cats, Sam and Midge. The couple are expecting their first son in March 2025. A trivia and history enthusiast, John enjoys spicy food and watching Jeopardy! daily with his wife.
