The natural environment is changing, and the drought, high temperatures and wildfires experienced in the south-central region are a case in point. Good science can help shape smart strategies to cope with these and other changes. The South Central Climate Science Center provides science information and tools to allow resource managers and citizens to anticipate, measure and appropriately adapt to changing conditions on the local and regional scale where decisions matter most to communities at risk.
