Founders speak on impact of E3 class on their ventures

Get in Touch

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Words like ‘focus,’ ‘structure,’ ‘strategy’ and ‘invaluable’ are heard over and over again as we talk with the founders who participate in our popular e3 – evaluate, equip, empower — workshop for entrepreneurs.

The entrepreneurs bring their ideas and new concepts to e3 with a mission to determine the best market and test customer acceptance of their venture. They go through a rigorous process of customer discovery to determine future company strategy.

Cohort Profiles

Below are featured company profiles and founder feedback from some of our latest cohort participants.

AIPAGS, LLC. – Founded by J. Ross Vanhooser, M.C., AIPAGS is an acronym for the patented Artificial Intelligence Positioning Atlas Guidance System, which ensures proper positioning for a diagnostic X-ray exam. Using a 2D and/or 3D camera attached to the X-ray housing, X-ray machine operators of all skill levels can quickly position patients for most exams, reducing exam retake rates. That saves patients radiation exposure associated with digital X-ray exams.

“e3 brings an intensity and clear focus to where you are and where you need to be. From customer discovery to considering a realistic successful business future, they push you to get things organized. Lots of talented people who are willing to share!” – J. Ross Vanhooser, M.D.

Body Flexor, LLC – Co-founded by Jessica Knotts and Josh Knotts, Body Flexor developed lightweight, portable, on-the-go stretch and strengthening products for the health, fitness and wellness niche. Manufactured in Tulsa, the company’s primary device consists of durable military and rock-climbing grade parts and fits in a small bag for home or on the go, helping the user improve their joint mobility, relieve muscle tension and reduce pain. https://www.bodyflexor.com

Founder comments
“The e3 discovery calls were a great opportunity to have Body Flexor’s processes not only be reviewed and critiqued by experienced e3 staff, but also by very talented entrepreneurs who have the same goals as Body Flexor. This learning experience I believe is invaluable and we would not have had this structured environment most likely anywhere else … The biggest value we received from participating in the e3 program were the tools, structure and strategy to move our products closer to the market desiring the results and solutions Body Flexor products provide.” – Jesse Bar.

SalesVizion – Founded by Mark Steele, this Edmond-based company is re-imagining the process by which a salesperson identifies opportunities, discovers valid objectives and relays value to a customer, increasing the probability of sales and reducing sales conversion time while deepening connections with customers. https://salesvizion.com

Founder comments
“The e3 program has been invaluable in understanding our market and how to best programmatically create a game plan for our business. The best part is the value we are receiving continues each day as we implement what we learned in the e3 program and explore business opportunities with our e3 mentors.” – Mark Steele

PUrioLabs, LLC – PUrioLabs CEO Mark Whitaker, MBA, is a career entrepreneur and inventor with a manufacturing, software engineering and quality control background. Whitaker is also the company’s product manager and science expert. PURitALL is a first-of-its-kind mobile disinfection cabinet that treats personal protection equipment and other devices in the work environment to improves the healthcare worker experience as well as patient outcomes. https://puriolabs.com

Founder comments
“The best aspect of the e3 program is the product-market fit investigation, which will anchor the many critical assumptions for the business going forward, especially who will buy, why they buy, their alternatives, and what they value. Most of us entrepreneurs find it uncomfortable to hard-test our assumptions, but the truth found sooner can prevent disaster for some and sharpen the spear for others.” – Mark Whitaker

WISO – Founded by its CEO, Samuel Greedharry, WISO is a personalized college prep app that helps high school students from 140 countries around the world prepare for the standardized Cambridge University Exam. WISO makes use of an AI companion that curates the web and personalizes content for the needs of every student, while providing assistance such as interactive planning, academic goals setting, and optimized studying.

Founder comments
“Being a start-up is very challenging, and one of the great fundamentals for every new company is to connect with those who have already gone along that road, made mistakes, and succeeded. Through the e3 program, we were able to gain the knowledge of how to build a company from scratch and more importantly to find out what customers are essentially looking for to solve their problems.” – Samuel Greedharry

4DSales – Under the leadership of Managing Partner Brian Carpenter, 4DSales™ offers a software package specifically designed for sales professionals using an iPad, which allows storage, indexing and delivery of robust sales documentation to clients. It allows for ease and consistency of product education for clients by salespeople. https://4dsales.com

Founder comments
“This is a humbling and vulnerable process that can and should be repeated over and over again as you go through the life of your business … from idea to prototype to funding to customers to course change to rethink, etc., etc. in order to vastly improve the probability of a successful and sustainable company. The entire e3 process forces you to rethink your business, market and customer assumptions.” – Bryan Carpenter[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
