What is a BIO Scholarship?

The OKBIO Association offers $3,000 scholarships to two recipients which are to be used to assist in covering costs of attending BIO International, such as registration and travel expenses.

Who can apply for a scholarship?

The scholarships are intended to support early-stage bioscience entrepreneurs and bioscience start-up companies to help defray the cost of registration and eligible travel expenses.

How are applications judged?

Applications will be reviewed for clarity and thoroughness of responses to the questions on the application form, including articulation of business objectives for attending BIO and a clear strategy for how the time at BIO will be used to best accomplish those objectives.  Preference may be given to qualifying first time applicants.
