As Investment Portfolio Manager, Melissa’s primary responsibility is to oversee and monitor post-investment review, analysis and evaluation of i2E’s equity and near-equity investments. Her duties include the ongoing review and analysis of client financial statements, review of client business models and financial strategies as it relates to financial performance, monitoring post-investment contractual requirements, and holding Board or Board Observer seats on behalf of i2E. Melissa also provides financial analysis related to proposed follow-on investments in existing portfolio companies, and is responsible for capturing and reporting all relevant information of portfolio companies on a regular basis.
Melissa has nearly a decade of financial experience with the majority of her career as Investment Analyst for the Teacher’s Retirement System of Oklahoma where she managed the public pension fund of more than $15 billion. She managed the compliance and oversight functions for 45 active portfolios and 3 passive portfolios of international and domestic equity, high yield and core fixed income, private equity and distressed debt and credit opportunities.
Melissa holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Finance and is in the process of obtaining her Masters of Business Administration, Finance-Risk Management from the University of Oklahoma.
